Medical Necessity
When Medical Necessity tools are activated in LabDAQ Laboratory Information System, the user is alerted when an inappropriate diagnosis code has been entered, based on the user-defined Code Map database. The system can be configured to print an Advanced Beneficiary Notification (ABN) automatically or on demand.
